“Dead Man Out”: Governmental Structure and Mental Illness in the Movie Starring Danny Glover and Ruben Blades

His execution has been delayed, however, due to his insanity. Danny Glover has been recruited as a psychiatrist to treat him. Glover has to not only employ his best clinical approaches but also come to the realization that, if he is successful in his efforts to restore this convict’s mental stability, Blades will face the electric chair.
